Boxing 101

Never boxed before? Are you worried you’ll be the only one in class who has never been to Cappy’s? But you wanna give boxing fitness a try? Hey, you aren’t the only one!! We’ve heard from hundreds of boxers through the years that stepping through the door for that first class was one of the hardest part of achieving their goals. We hear you and we’ve responded!

Boxing 101 is the answer! In this class you will be with a group of brand new boxers. Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to class start time so that our coach can check you in, orient you to the gym, help you learn how to work at a level that is right for you, and answer your questions. In class you will also learn your stance, cover, basic punches, and anything else you need to join in our regular Boxing Fitness classes. It’s a great way to get a feel for what the Cappy’s community is all about PLUS you’ll get a fun workout.

We offer our Boxing 101 classes twice a week: Wednesday evenings at 7:30 and Saturday mornings at 11:00. Classes can fill up so reserve your spot early.
